Gifted assessments for students are conducted when a child demonstrates accelerated skills in learning. These screenings will determine if your child would benefit from a more challenging academic program such as placement in a gifted program.
The following standardized intelligence tests are available depending on the child’s age:
- Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence (WPPSI-III)
- Wechsler Intelligence Test for Children-Fourth Edition (WISC-IV)
